The Emerge Network has been chosen as one of the first five organizations supported by Hillary's new political organization, Onward Together! 

Onward Together is supporting a select group of organizations committed to resisting Donald Trump's agenda and Hillary knows that here at Emerge Virginia, we are recruiting and training the resistance to run for office and win.

Tuesday, July 19 - On Saturday, July 16th, 19 women from across Virginia graduated from the Emerge Virginia training program that prepares Democratic women to run for office.  Afterwards, the graduates and supporters from across Virginia celebrated the graduation with an event at the home of Laura and Mark Herring.  

Emerge Virginia has been training Democratic women for just three years.  In that time, 75 women have been trained; 24 have ran for office and 10 have won.  two were recently appointed to public bodies; Lynchburg School Board and Norfolk City Council.  The alumnae hail from every corner of Virginia and 54% of the alumnae are women of color.

On January 17, the 2015 class of Emerge Virginia began with a dynamic and diverse group of 24 women from all across the Commonwealth.
